NEST stands for the North End Sponsorship Team. Originally based out of North End Winnipeg, we are a volunteer community of individuals and churches who sponsor refugees and help them adjust to life in Canada.
Tuesday, January 28 at 6:30 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave, Winnipeg. Please note that 6:30 pm is a change from the former usual time of 7:00 pm.
The monthly meeting will be at 7:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave. Monthly general meetings are normally held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
NEST SPRING MUSICAL EVENING 2019 (1) An evening of music at Grace Lutheran Church to support refugee sponsorships through NEST. Some Refreshments and snacks following the program. Join us in fellowship with performers, members of NEST, and recently sponsored immigrants Freewill offering.
Vespers (evening prayer) at 6:00 pm followed by presentations at 6:45 pm. Location: St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 5635 Henderson Hwy, 15 minutes north of the Perimeter. Speakers are: Brian Dyck (Mennonite Central Committee) and Kathy Fast (Ten Thousand Villages). Potluck desserts and fellowship to follow. Admission: freewill offering.

NEST 10,000 V Fundraiser Friday, November 24, 2017, 6-9:00 pm @ 10,000 Villages, Henderson Hwy 10% of sales will go to NEST. A great way to have your shopping support artisans in developing countries and refugees resettling in Canada via the North End Sponsorship Team.
